Let’s talk about 5 ways to wear pink for a classic girl with your practical everyday wardrobe.

There is a colour that no matter how the fashion trends come and go, it always stays in and keep us up more than any others: PINK. Whether it’s pink in a pastel, dusty or deep magenta shade, all make our wardrobe extremely vibrant and feminine.

But sometimes it could be annoying when you over-used pink. To be a classy and elegant lady in busy contemporary urban life,  you would always looking for the way to dress a pink outfit easy to put on and off and just about right.

Keep scrolling and you’ll see how good is your life (and your outfit) when there’s pink involved just on the point.

There is a colour that no matter how the fashion trends come and go, it always stays in and keep us up more than any others: PINK.

  WAY NO.1

PINK X DENIM

Denim blue is one of my favourite colour to mix & match. It seats just right on a medium hue but on a slightly cooler side, so it won’t take that much notice over other beautiful pieces you put on with, but still keeps a well balanced chic look on its own.   Pink, typical colour sites in between cool and warm tones – say a coral pink will be warm and a powdery baby pink most of the time will be considered as cool tone – the red accent inside pink can always find a perfect balance with a piece blue-toned denim.

Try to tuck your dusty pink jumper into your light washed slim fit jeans, or maybe an oversized vintage pink shirt with medium washed 501.  Feeling smartly casual with femininity is the key to this look.

WAY NO.2

PINK X WHITE X GREY

Can you imagine any other kind of colour combination that is so feminine, so graceful and so neatly presented rather than white + pink + grey?

White, such a pure and clean colour that goes with anything.  Pink, a soft, feminine yet glory colour that every woman will glow with it.  Grey, a magical hue that can be adopted into any harmonies

Why not finish your daily working outfit with a soft pink overcoat just over a classic white shirt and a pair of well-tailored grey woollen trousers for this winter.   If you live in a really cold city, then try to wrap yourself into a pink-grey double-sided chunky scarf to keep you extremely cosy when you pop in and out from your office.

I’d love to choose something dark, but rich in blue, almost has a bit of purple inside the navy to shout out more alongside a rich, bright pink.

WAY NO.3

PINK X NAVY

Is navy blue your ‘must-have’ in the everyday wardrobe?  Then you are in the right story! The richness of this midnight blue shade works so perfectly with almost everything, and it is doing really well with the magenta accent inside pinks!    I’d love to choose something dark, but rich in blue, almost has a bit of purple inside the navy to shout out more alongside a rich, bright pink.  This gives the look such a satisfying contrast in colour.  If you prefer gold, add some gold accessories, it will bring the outfit up to the next level.

WAY NO.4

PINK JUMPER X WHITE SHIRT

You can’t live without a bunch of nice cut white shirt in your wardrobe.  It is the time to add on some interesting bits to these such manipulative white shirt.  Layer up with your pink jumper!  Whether you prefer a lightweight fine knit or a chunky oversized mohair jumper from your mum’s favourite collection, they will keep your winter just as delightful as it never been.

WAY NO.5

PINK X CARAMEL

It’s all about balance.  Gold camel toned brown shades just have that incredible quality that can pick up a perfect balance to our eyes with soft rosy pinks, it’s warm, feminine and so delightful to your skin.  What else would be better than wrapping yourself into a think cosy camel coat and finish your style with a utra soft pink scarf when you have to go to work in a windy moring?

Who I Am and What I Will Write

Unpaireddesign

Hello there! Thank you for checking this page, I appreciate your attention to me personally, not just to my posts and information I share. And I’m happy to share a little more about who I am and why I started this blog.

My name is Cecilia.  I am from Shanghai, the largest city in China and  I am now living in London with my husband and working as a fashion and textile designer for many years.  After being in the fashion industry for a long time, I started to realize there are so many similar fashion products on the market from fast fashion brands.  They are so obsessed with fast trends and they are all fall in the scarcity of being left out of the trend.  So the result is, everyone is doing the same products and try to compete with other brands that what everyone else has, we should have it.

It is really different from what I understand, or what I value the whole concept about fashion.  Fashion to me is a way to experience ourselves, to find the uniqueness in every individual’s soul. Where we’ve born, how we been raised up,  what music we are listening to, which pub we go to the most, all these little details in our lives can reflect on how we dress.  In more practical prospect,  we all have different skin tones, different body shape and how we feel ‘comfortable’ and ‘confidence’ are all different.  There is no way to let all of us wear the same clothes. So why we should design and sell the same fashion products in all the shops then just try to catch up on ‘trend’ then?

UnPaired Design Studio

After I decided that I don’t want to follow the rules anymore, I start to look for a business idea that can represent who I am and where I come from, to enjoy the fun of design and creation but also keep naturally sustainable in mind.

In ancient Chinese philosophy, everything human take from nature will be, somehow, returned to nature at the end to complete the circulation of the universe. The concept of “Something Naturalism, Something Humanism, and Something Orientalism” finally makes UnPaired Design Studio alive.   Natural fibre created scarves and accessories is the key to the brand.  I enjoy to play around with colour and texture between different prints and material and telling some interesting stories from my experience of life.

I draw from what I see during my journey when travelling and use modern technology to design and develop these drawings into scarves and accessories.  I sourced the best material and craftsmanship from the home of silk, Hangzhou City in China to make these ideas into reality.
